Venum Contender Jiu Jitsu Gi Review
The quest for the highest quality “cheap” BJJ is a common one amongst practitioners. I had seen these Venum gis around for a few years, and didn’t trust them. They were just too cheap, price wise, to be good, right?
It turns out I was wrong. I needed a white gi to tie dye so I grabbed this Venum Contender gi. It held the dye perfectly, and has been all around excellent. Extremely durable, and comfortable. My biggest fear with a cheap gi is the shoulders and lapels ripping, which has not been an issue now with 4+ years of use with this gi.

If you’re looking for an affordable jiu jitsu gi that can withstand the punishment of a BJJ workout, the Venum Contender is one of the best available. I recommend this gi!
